My dad was a Colonel with the Canadian arm forces posted in the UK. We all came to Canada after they married. I also had a nanny that actually worked for my great grandmother and grandparents, Charlotte Clark that came to Canada for the remainder of her life.
My parents had four children. I have a younger sister that was born in Ottawa when we were almost 3.
